INTRODUCTION:
The Filtramas CG grease concentrator unit is a compact unit designed for the separation and extraction of the floats, grease and foam contained in the waste water coming from the grit trap or decanter.
DESCRIPTION:
The new design of Filtramas presents some notable features:

Inclined bottom that allows the purging of the sedimented solids inside the tank without the need to empty it, thus facilitating the maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.

Very compact equipment: We manage to reduce the space with a grease deflector that extends to the bottom of the equipment, folding backwards so that the spill is forced to make a longer path, following the diagonal of the container tank.

It is supplied with a GRP protective cover, which completely covers the entire chain and scraper mechanism, in compliance with EC machine safety regulations. In addition, due to its lightness, it allows easy manual disassembly and easy access.

It has a hinged register and can be supplied with deodorization outlets.
The equipment consists of the following components:

Delivery box. Once the water enters through the inlet flange, its mission is to evenly distribute the fluid so that the floats and grease remain on the surface of the equipment. In the event that the floats do not come from a pumping operation, the float box is replaced by a straight section of tank. In this case, the float inlet connection must be located on one side of the equipment to avoid preferential flows, and must be located on the top so that the manifold is not under load.

Holding tank. It receives fluid from the distribution box, and is arranged to encourage the formation of a fat or foam “mattress” on the top of the box to be removed by a sweeper. In its lower part there is a rectangular mouth that connects with the spillway of the clarified waters.

Floating sweeping mechanism. It consists of two conveyor chains, with two axles equipped with pinions and driven by a low power motor reducer. These chains drag a certain number of scrapers that sweep the foam or fat mattress through a ramp and throw it into a container.

Spillway. It consists of a tank located at the rear of the holding tank, receives clear water and directs it to the outside through a socket.

The Filtramas CG grease concentrator unit is sized according to the flow rate to be treated. The model number corresponds to the m3/h that can be treated: CG-5, CG-10, CG-20, CG-30, CG-45 and CG-60

It can be manufactured in different materials according to the customer’s needs or the characteristics of the installation (painted A42b steel, AISI 304 or AISI 316).

Band screens are those equipments, installed in a channel or , which has a series of filtering surfaces in continuous movement. Its mission is to extract the suspended solids of a certain size that accompany the effluent. There are several types of band screens, depending on the characteristics of the effluent and the installation:
The objective of this equipment is to protect the WWTP or pumping well from the possible arrival of large objects capable of causing obstructions in the different units of the installation. This operation consists of passing the waste water through a screen that separates and evacuates the bulky materials dragged along. They will retain large-sized solids such as branches, leaves, paper, tree roots, plastics, wipes, rags, etc., preventing damage and blockages to pumps, valves, pipes and other elements present in subsequent treatment processes of the purification plant.
These devices allow to continue filtering while performing self-cleaning, being especially suitable for those applications where continuous filtering is an important parameter of the process. Filtramas recommends the installation of its FB or FW in-line filters according to the flow and filtration needs.

FILTRAMAS, S.A. has a wide range of solutions for the transport and compacting of the waste extracted by its machines, in a clean and discreet. The conveying and compacting systems can be with screws with final draining zone or hydraulic presses.
The conveyor-compactor screws supplied by FILTRAMAS, S.A., coupled together with its equipment, allow us to obtain a totally clean and fair-faced installation. The screw loading openings are designed for coupling to the discharge opening of the extraction equipment (bars movable grilles or screens), and the intermediate spaces are covered by a fairing.
